Climate Change Education and Awareness Programme Launch
To launch a climate change awareness and education programme for all employees across all the Booking Holdings' brands (Booking.com, Kayak, OpenTable, Pricelines, Agoda), we needed a hard-hitting asset which would punch people in their proverbial gut and get them thinking about their role in supporting our corporate sustainability objectives.
The main challenge was limited budget and even less time to turn the video around. So I concepted a video that made use of stock and Booking-owned video assets. The goal was to celebrate travel, not demonise it. I wanted to take the audience on a journey, where the threat of climate change wasn't a defeating prospect but a challenge to be overcome.
Working with change agency Futerra, we brought this video in on time and under budget. And it got people talking.
